  11. Is anyone but me using this modem?  I've had it for about 2 months now
  12. and have yet to see it connect at anything greater than 24000.  Most
  13. of my connects are at 19200 or 21400 on a good day.  My ISP is using
  14. USRs. Mine is MV.34 Internal using Win 95 on Com2 IRQ3.  Phone lines
  15. are as quiet as can be. Had Bell Atlantic telephone tech at the house
  16. and he said no noise. He also gave me the number that rang the phone
  17. all the way to the local station.  The only thing that is funny is
  18. when I call my ISP on a voice phone there modem tones do not seem very
  19. loud.  Does Boca make a BIOS upgrade for this modem? Do I need one? Or
  20. do I need a new ISP?
